Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art focusing on slow movement and meditation with minimal impact, perfect for the overly stressed or for those who cannot do other high intensity martial arts due to physical limitations.
But don't be fooled, Tai Chi teaches self-defense and improves balance, cardiovascular health, and flexibility. Our program centers on qigong meditation, form practice, applications, and push hands at more advanced levels. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a grappling martial art that focuses on the principles of leverage, timing, and efficiency of movement rather than strength and size to defeat opponents.
Practical application is central to BJJ, and techniques are practiced with a partner to ensure they can be used either for tournament or self-defense situations. Through training students gain a greater awareness of their bodies, confidence in the effectiveness of their movements, and a deeper understanding of themselves and their capabilities.

The Karate Kubs program was developed specifically for children ages 4, 5, and 6. This program offers a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, and discipline.
In addition, the program is designed to improve children's motor skills and enchance their ability to pay attention, follow directions, and do their best. Karate Kubs also learn practical abuse and abduction prevention with our Safety N.E.T. Kids curriculum. All class are taught using the most safe, fun, and exciting instructional methods available for their age group.

Leaders are not born - they are made! Leadership students learn and practice the skills it takes to be an effective leader and coach on and off the training mats. Effective communication, interpersonal skills, how to direct a group, and many other lessons are taught and put into practice on the training floor.

Confidence, exercise, self discipline, self defense; these are just a few of many reasons for your child to become involved in the martial arts. Children who study a martial art often become more confident, self-regulated, and better focused students and citizens.
Our teaching system is based on character building life skills in addition to the physical and technical skills of taekwondo. Beginner students learn the basic techniques associated with taekwondo. Advanced students are further motivated with the addition of advanced movement and free sparring. Junior Taekwondo students also learn practical abuse and abduction prevention with our Safety N.E.T. Kids curriculum.

Our Adult Taekwondo program has many benefits to offer you. Students who wish to get into, and stay in, shape will find Taekwondo an enjoyable way to burn calories and tone muscle. In addition to getting in better shape, training is also a great stress reliever!
Students who wish to focus on personal protection skills will not only learn the powerful striking and kicking techniques of Taekwondo, but also other tools and information that is vital to keeping yourself and loved ones safe. Topics such as legal use of force, home invasions, verbal de-escalation techniques, and others are discussed to give students a well-rounded self-defense education.
